What is High Alumina Brick
High alumina refractory bricks are the general name of Al2O3-SiO2 refractory bricks, which contain at least 48% of Al2O3. By Al2O3 content, high alumina fire bricks are classified into first grade high alumina refractory bricks, second grade high alumina refractory bricks, third grade high alumina refractory bricks and special grade high alumina refractory bricks. By using properties, high alumina fire bricks are divided into general application high alumina bricks ( first class high alumina bricks, second class high alumina brick, third class alumina refractory bricks), low creep high alumina bricks, phosphate bonded alumina refractory brick, abrasion resistant high alumina bricks, micro expansion high alumina bricks and so on.

High Alumina Bricks Applications
General application alumina fire bricks are widely used in all kinds of high temperature kilns and furnaces, and their high temperature performance is significantly better than fireclay bricks.
Low creep high alumina bricks are usually used in hot blast furnaces, blast furnaces and so on.
Phosphate bonded alumina bricks have better anti abrasion property, they are widely used in CFB boilers, rotary cement kilns, electric furnace and so on.
Micro expansion high alumina bricks can increase lining integrity and slag permeation resistance.
